Liverpool first team coach Steve Clarke leaves club
First team coach Steve Clarke has parted company with Liverpool on
"amicable terms", the League Managers' Association (LMA) has confirmed.
Last week Liverpool appointed former Swansea boss Brendan Rodgers as manager in place of the sacked Kenny Dalglish.
Clarke, who was number two to Dalglish, offered his resignation when the Scot was sacked, but the club rejected it.
Rodgers has yet to name a number two, but three of his Swansea backroom staff joined him in the move to Anfield.
